Operation Fun
One of Lilly's presents for her birthday was a gift card, so during our Mother and Daughter date we went shopping to spend it. We first went through the toy aisle and just picked up whatever she really liked, putting it all in the cart. I informed her that we were not getting all of it, but that we would pick a few things after we finished our stroll through the toys. My daughter is really into a few things - baby dolls, play-doh, doctors, creating, and clowns. After our stroll, we had the game Operation, a doctor Barbie, a new play-doh kit, a hula hoop, a doll that could take a bath with you, and a baby doll that really eats and pees. Luckily, I was able to convince we did not need the baby doll that eats and pees. :) One of the things she did pick, was the game Operation. I wasn't sure how she would do because it is for ages 6 and up, but she loves it! She knows what all the pieces stand for and loves telling the "sick man" that she's there to help him feel better. She's not really good at getting the pieces out, but that doesn't seem to bother her - she really just loves playing the game and watching others get the pieces out. I'm so excited to have found something so entertaining for her.
